Bridges

A bridge is a multi-unit crown, which is an option to replace one or more multiple missing teeth.  The teeth on both sides of the gap require a crown that are attached to a fake tooth in the middle.

It takes 2 appointments to prepare and deliver your bridge.  At your first appointment, tooth structure needs to be removed from the teeth on both sides of the gap to make room for the crown material to fit over your natural tooth.  An impression of the teeth is then made and sent to the dental lab to fabricate a custom-made bridge that fits to your mouth.  While the lab is making your bridge, you will have a temporary bridge to protect the teeth and will return in 2 -3 weeks to make sure it fits properly and you are satisfied with how your new bridge looks and feels.
